Myrtle Beach Attractions for Kids

Written By: Paul Hanak

Looking for something to do in Myrtle Beach with the kids?  Well, we found the answer – a website dedicated to just kid-friendly activities.

Granted, Myrtle Beach lends itself to a family friendly vacation, but wouldn’t it be better to plan your trip knowing your agenda?  There is plenty to do in Myrtle AND North Myrtle. And there are even kid-friendly resorts with cool mini-water parks they can enjoy. All in all, there are plenty of Myrtle Beach attractions for kids.

Let’s see. Water Parks. Check.  Mini-golf. Check. Ripley’s Aquarium. Check. Of course, the beach. And plenty more for all age groups, from the little ones to the teenagers. (They would love Medieval Times.)

While you are checking out Myrtle Beach condo rentals for your next vacation, be sure to ask your reservationist of what kind of kiddie pools are at the condo.

Of course, check out the Myrtle Beach attractions for kids website as well at http://www.myrtlebeachkidsstuff.com/.

We are planning to come to Myrtle Beach 7/22 through 7/26. We have a 4 yr old who is a daredevil – loves coasters and water parks. Do you have any fun,kid friendly hotels you would recommend? Also, any activities that he would enjpoy?

    Hey Jay,
Not sure about any hotels, but you might want to check out The Breakers condos. It has a pirate ship for a kiddie pool. And Dunes Village resort has an indoor water park. As far as activities, well, pretty much anything on the Myrtle Beach kids stuff website would be a good idea. For the daredevil in him, I’d recommend Family Kingdom.

I agree with Paul about the Breakers, but I believe all in all the Baywatch Resort probably has the best pools and kiddie stuff all around. There’s a burger/hotdog stand at the pool, too..as well as lazy rivers and several kiddie type things.

Don’t miss taking him to Broadway at the Beach to the old Pavilion rides. It won’t cost you a fortune now, and most of the rides that are there are the right kind for a young kid with his parents. You can have dinner at Margarittaville or maybe Senor’ Frog’s, and play putt-putt, go to the Imax Theatre or the Aquarium or all of it in one place!

You’ll have a ball at any of the places on our website.
