2017 Fall Festivals In Myrtle Beach

It’s almost fall and that means it’s the perfect time to visit the Myrtle Beach area. If you think the beach is only appealing during the summer, you don’t know what you are missing in the fall.  Myrtle Beach has plenty to offer in the Autumn months and festivals are a plenty. If you are going to be visiting Myrtle Beach in the fall, you may want to plan your trip to coincide with one of these fun fall festivals.

Society of Stranders Fall Shag Migration

If you have ever wanted to learn the shag or watch it happen where it all started, you won’t want to miss this festival. The Society of Stranders celebrates everyone’s favorite dance in the fall and its always a good time.  The festival will take place the week of September 15-24, 2017 in North Myrtle Beach. There is always great music, great food and of course, great dancing.

Fall Bike Week

If you have a bike and love the beach, head down to Fall Bike Fest. There are many events scheduled for the weeks and a lot bikers often meet up at various locations to enjoy meals or drinks together. You can’t beat the views of the ocean either. Fall Bike Week has been a popular fall festival along the Grand Strand for many years.

Harvest Home Weekend Festival

Looking for something for the whole family to enjoy together? The Harvest Home Weekend Festival is perfect for everyone. It will be held October 7-8 at Brookgreen Gardens during the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  The festival offers numerous fun activities such as hay rides, pumpkin painting, music and refreshments.

South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival

Do you love bluegrass? The entire state of South Carolina does and they celebrate their favorite music right in Myrtle Beach. The festival is held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and will feature many popular bluegrass singers and bands. It takes place November 23-25 and ticket prices start at $40 adult for one day, $20 per child 7 to 15 for one day and under 7 is free with adult.
