Travel Update for North Myrtle Beach & Myrtle Beach Area

We are grateful for the trust our guests have shown us throughout our 35 years in business. It is our highest priority to make sure you are safe and comfortable when you stay in Condo-World accommodations. We wanted to share a few updates that might help you feel at ease with booking an upcoming vacation to the Myrtle Beach Area. Risk Free Vacation Guarantee

North Myrtle Beach: If you cannot travel due to COVID-19 related restrictions or sickness, you will get an immediate credit toward a future stay within the next year that can be used at any of Condo-World's North Myrtle Beach Condos. Reservations can be changed as soon as 45 days prior to arrival.

Myrtle Beach: You can cancel your reservation for any reason up to 14 days prior to arrival and receive your deposit back or transfer it to other dates without penalty. Within 14 days, deposit can be used toward different stay dates before December 31, 2021. (30 days for North Beach Plantation)

Condo-World Cares: Our Promise to You

Condo-World has a long standing reputation for high standards of cleanliness in our condos, with well-established processes and training in place for our housekeeping staff. We are closely monitoring cleaning guidelines set forth by the CDC, and are implementing additional measures to ensure the safety of our guests.

Listed below are some highlights of new and current measures you can expect when you stay with Condo-World.

Minimal Contact Check-in and Check-out

We are also now offering guests Minimal Contact Check-in. We will collect your check-in information prior to your arrival and have your packet ready with your keys, pool passes, and parking passes that you will require during your stay. On your day of arrival, you will receive a text notifying you when your unit is ready for check-in. Our Minimal Contact check-in stations will be located outside of our building and are accessible without having to enter our office. Simply walk up to our designated check in stations and a Condo-World staff member (who will be wearing personal protective equipment) will hand you your packet and you will be on your way to your vacation!

Social Distancing

Condo-World’s new office building has a spacious check-in area that is conducive to social distancing. We will have signage to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols, and furniture has been moved to allow for additional distancing. We request that only 1 person per party enter our building if you require assistance during your stay.

Deep Clean of Condos

All of our condos are required to have Deep Cleanings throughout the year. This 2-day process ensures our condos are kept in the best condition possible. During this in-depth service, our housekeepers clean the entirety of the property from top to bottom, including behind and underneath all furniture and moveable appliances. Every inch of the property’s walls, doors and corresponding trim receive a thorough washing. Kitchen cabinetry and drawers are cleaned inside and out, and their contents are removed, washed, and inventoried. All bedding is washed or dry cleaned. Each deep clean is inspected by Condo-World management upon completion.

Professional Laundry Facility

All of our condos come equipped with bed linens and bath towels, which are fully laundered between every stay at a professional off-site facility using industrial grade washers and dryers, providing the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation.

Housekeeping Between Stays

Condo-World housekeepers will be taking additional steps between each stay to ensure optimal cleanliness prior to your arrival. Appropriate surfaces, such as light switches, knobs, and countertops are being thoroughly disinfected with recommended COVID-19 specific EPA cleaning solutions. Our housekeeping team routinely takes inventory of kitchen items, ensuring you have all the essentials to safely prepare meals in the comfort and privacy of your condo.

Common Areas

All resort common areas, including elevators, lobbies and amenities, will be frequently cleaned throughout each day using COVID-19 specific EPA cleaning solutions by the on-site resort or HOA staff.

Keys & Pool Passes

All keys and pool passes are sanitized prior to being put in your check-in envelope

Hand Sanitizer

All check-in envelopes will include a 4oz bottle of hand sanitizer for your added safety and convenience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are the beaches open? What about pools and water amenities?

Yes, all area beaches are open to the public. Residents and visitors should practice social distancing in accordance with CDC guidance. Per DHEC regulations and amended by Governor McMaster as of 5/11, pools can open on May 18th.

What is the policy for changing or cancelling a current reservation?

North Myrtle Beach properties: If you cannot travel due to COVID-19 related restrictions or sickness, you will get an immediate credit toward a future stay within the next year that can be used at any of Condo-World's North Myrtle Beach condos. Reservations can be moved as soon as 45 days prior to arrival. Please call us at 800-753-4537 to reschedule. If there is a difference in cost for the new dates this will be an additional charge. This does not apply to monthly stays.

Myrtle Beach properties: (includes North Beach Plantation) While policies vary by resort, most are offering 100% Refund for reservations canceled 14 days or more prior to arrival. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, Deposits may be credited toward a future reservation (within one year). No penalties or fees to change your reservation. New dates subject to availability and nightly rate differences. Please contact us for specific details for your resort at 800-753-4357.

Will travel insurance protect me?

If you or a family member has contracted COVID-19, you can file a claim with CSA Insurance. To file a claim, CLICK HERE. If you have not purchased travel insurance, you may add this to your reservation prior to making your final payment. New reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival to add insurance. Are restaurants and grocery stores open?

As of May 11th, restaurants are now open to limited indoor dining services (50% occupancy for inside dining.) Outdoor and patio dining is also allowed, along with curbside carryout and delivery. Restrictions are being lifted in phases, so please bookmark this page and we will make sure to post the most recent updates as the situation unfolds.

All grocery stores and pharmacies are open. For your convenience, consider using delivery or pick-up services provided directly by retailers like Walmart or for other grocers through apps like Instacart (www.instacart.com) and Postmates (www.postmates.com) among others.
