Are linens included in the rental unit?
YES! Linen processing fees are required and are based on the number of bedrooms. 1br- $65, 2br: $75, 3br: $85, 4br: $95, 5br: $105, 6br: $115, 7br: $125, 8br: $145. Linens for the beds are included, including sheets, pillow cases, blankets and comforters. We also provide washcloths and towels for the bathrooms. We do NOT provide hand towels, dish towels, or beach towels.
What do you provide in the unit? (Linens, soaps, trash bags, etc)
Linens for the beds include sheets, pillow cases, blankets and comforters. We also provide washcloths and towels for the bathrooms, but not hand towels. Also, we do not provide kitchen towels or beach towels. Each unit has a starter of dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, and small hand soap. You are responsible for replenishing those throughout your stay.
Will I save money if I bring my own linens?
No — you may bring your own linens, but we cannot lower the rate if you choose to do so.
Can I check-in early?
As a general rule, no. We begin checking-in and giving keyes at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, upon completion of housekeeping services. You CAN arrive after 12:30 p.m. to come to our office to fill out your paperwork, but we cannot release keys to you until housekeeping services have been completed, which is usually around 3 p.m.
Keep in mind, it is difficult for us to check on the status of your unit before 3 p.m. as well. We have over 250 condo units, all of which have to be cleaned on Saturday after 10 a.m. but before 3 p.m. We rely on our cleaners to provide us with "completion" status, but they are unable to give us "in progress" status due to time restrictions.
What do I have to do in my rental before I leave to check-out?
Not much at all! All we ask is that you take your garbage out and place it in the appropriate bins on the property and turn on the dishwasher with your dirty dishes before you leave. That's it! We'll take care of the rest. You don't need to strip your beds or put all your dirty towels in one spot. We're going to wash everything regardless. Of course though, make sure you have your keys back to us by 10 a.m. on checkout day.

Do the units have internet access?
90% of our rental units do in the form of WIFI. Depending on the homeowner and the building property management, the networks are either secured and require a password, or unsecured and do not require a password. If the condo does have internet, we list it on the unit amenities list.
What is "second row?"
Second row refers to a condo or beach house located across the street from the ocean. For example, Malibu Pointe is a luxurious second row condo. All second row units are considered ocean view.
After I reserve and make a down payment, how should I handle my remaining final balance?
Final payment is due within 30 days prior to date of check-in (or 45 days if funds are from a Canadian bank account) and can be paid by personal check, cashiers check or Visa, MasterCard, Amex, or Discover. You are responsible for final payment. You can either give us a call or visit this page to make an online payment. (For the online payment, you must have your reservation number (provided to you through email or on the phone) and your last name. You may then enter your credit card information to pay your final balance.)
If the pending balance is NOT paid 30 days prior to arrival, the remaining balance will automatically be charged to the credit card we have on file.
I am confused about pricing, what is the final price I pay for a rental?
All the prices you see listed are the base price for the rentals. The final price depends on the number of bedrooms for the unit, the tax rate, processing fees, and other surcharges that may occur. For the final price, either give us a call, or the final price appears, itemized, before you make a booking online.
Please note that the rates listed on our website do NOT include any current discounts we are offering. All discounts and specials can only be applied to reservations by speaking with one of our reservationists.
Are the units equipped with irons, ironing boards, hairdryers?
Not as a rule; however, some owners do leave one in their unit—to be safe, though, plan on bringing your own.
Are BBQ grills provided?
Resorts may have a grill on the property, and some private beach homes have a grill provided. Please check the specific amenities listed for each rental.
What is departure maid service?
Departure maid service is the type of maid service who clean after you leave for your return home. You do not have to worry about heavily cleaning the unit/house before you leave. There are certain requirements we do ask of you, though, so please ask your reservationist. Departure maid service is included in our rental price.
What is the minimum age limit on your vacation rentals?
Our minimum rental age is 24. The reservation holder must be present during the duration of the stay and check-in at the office with a valid ID and credit card.
Do you have any Pet-Friendly Properties?
During the months of October thru March, we do have (1) dog-friendly oceanfront condo rental in Bay Watch Resort. You can view our pet-friendly rentals as well as read our policy.
What is the difference between oceanfront and ocean view?
An ocean view condo or beach house is a rental unit that has a view of the ocean. The view may be from across the street (second row) or from your balcony that looks over the side of the building, rather than the front. An oceanfront rental unit is just how it sounds. You walk out onto your balcony or out the front door and you are looking directly at the beach. You can learn more about oceanfront Myrtle Beach condo rentals.
Can I have groceries delivered to my rental?
SURE! We've partnered with Simply Groceries, a service where you can order your groceries online and have them delivered straight to your rental the night of your arrival! Skip the busy grocery stores and order everything online at comparable prices. Visit their site here and get started.
I would like to pay for a family member's stay, but I will not be attending.
We would be more than happy to accommodate you. We do have extra steps and safeguards needed though if you are not going to be checking in with the credit card you used, so please give us a call at 800-624-6418 for full information on this process.
What are the parking regulations at the condos?
Due to height restrictions and noise ordinances, campers, motor homes, roof-top canopies, RVs, motorcycles or custom high top vans are not allowed on all condo properties. Overflow parking is available at some resorts for busses or large vehicles. Please check with us ahead of time if you plan to bring more than two vehicles. Restrictions apply.
The CondoLux office parking lot is not an option for overflow parking or oversized vehicles. City parking is available for free of charge in North Myrtle Beach. All applicable rules and regulations are posted accordingly and are enforced by the city.
What is your down payment policy on condos and beach homes?
Myrtle Beach Condo Rentals: A down payment of $500 is required for summer reservations, i.e., June, July, and August. A $300 down payment is required for off-season reservations (all other months). A down payment of $100 is required from each golfer per golf package. Down payments are due within 2 days of making reservations by personal check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover. If payment is made by credit card, you must present same credit card at check in for verification. Regardless of how payment is made, all reservations require a valid credit card number on file to be presented at check in to ensure key return and damage security. Guests without credit card are required to give a cash security deposit of $250 at check in. Final payments are due 30 days prior to arrival—we accept Visa, Mastercard or Discover, or personal, certified, or cashiers checks only for final payment.
Myrtle Beach Home Rentals: A down payment of 30 percent is required for all home rentals all seasons and is due within 10 days of making the reservation. How close is North Myrtle Beach to Myrtle Beach?
Generally, it takes 20-30 minutes to reach a location in Myrtle Beach from North Myrtle Beach, depending on traffic. However, there are continuous shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues along Kings Highway between both cities.

How is the weather? What will it be like during my vacation?
What if I need to have mail or packages sent to me while I am staying with CondoLux?
The North Myrtle Beach United States Postal Service is located 1.4 miles north of the CondoLux office building, and they offer Post Office boxes for $41 for 6 months (current fee). There is no monthly rate; therefore, if you stay less than 6 months, your fee is $41. They will also accept packages at the counter and put a notification in your box that it can be picked up during regular Post Office hours. The advantage of this option is, of course, 24-hour access to your mail. For a fee of $25, you are welcome to have your mail sent to CondoLux, and we will hold it for you to pick up during regular office hours. We will also accept packages for you for a fee of $5 per package. If you choose this option. you must pick up in a timely manner-we do charge a holding fee of $10 per package per day. Please note: In the event, you would need to receive something emergency, these fees may be waived by CondoLux management.
How do I book Golf tee times?
We'll be happy to book tee times for you and have the cost added in conveniently to your reservation.
