See You In September – Strand Events to Look Forward To!

Tourist season may be winding down but there is still plenty to do here on the Grand Strand in September.

September on the Grand Strand means the Fall Migration for shaggers (the official state dance of South Carolina is the shag), smaller crowds, less traffic, cooler temps – but still warm enough to be “summer-like”. There are festivals and events to attend as well. Here are some you won’t want to miss!  (And don’t forget to take advantage of our September Condo Rental Special either!)

Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival – Labor Day weekend the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival at the Grand Park, Market Common. Live bands – including the Fantastic Shakers, vendors with arts and crafts and unique entertainment, beer gardens, chicken wing cook off – and award-winning barbeque served up all day.
