Grammy-Award winning Gospel music singer Kirk Franklin has joined forces with House of Blues to create a updated version of the chain’s popular Gospel Brunch, which will debut in Myrtle Beach on Mother’s Day. As part of its year-long 20th anniversary celebration the restaurant will unveil the its new Kirk Franklin’s Gospel Brunch from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM with live music from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The all-you-can-eat brunch is a non-denominational celebration of gospel music with a buffet menu featuring southern specialties and morning feast favorites such as cornbread muffins and maple butter, Creole chicken jambalaya, chicken and waffles, a made-to-order omelet station, carving stations, and a create-your-own Bloody Mary bar. The all-you-can-eat buffet and show price is $29 for adults with children aged 7-12 priced at $14.50. Children 6 years old and under are free.

Friday, May 10 through Monday, May 13 1st Weekend of Spring Bike Rally. This is the ideal weekend for those that may not want to come when the crowds are here. This weekend, which is also Mothers Day weekend, is a collaborative effort on all area businesses to promote themselves with indoor special events including bookings for special live performances, celebrity appearances, food and drink specials, indoor contests, free giveaways and a classic car show. Many businesses will open their doors or have extend hours.
